Restaurant-Style Strawberry Milkshake

Yield: 2-4 servings

Ingredients

  • 8 oz fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced 2 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup Lactantia 3% milk
  • 1 pint strawberry ice cream

Garnish

  • Strawberries
  • Rainbow mix sprinkles

Directions

  1. Place the glasses in the freezer to chill.
  2. In a medium bowl, mix the strawberries, sugar, and vanilla extract. Place in the freezer for 1 hour.
  3. In a blender, combine the strawberry mixture and milk. Blend until smooth and no large chunks remain.
  4. Add the ice cream to the blender and mix by hand. If the mixture is too thick, add ¼ cup more milk, replace the lid, and shake vigorously until combined.
  5. Pour into the chilled glasses and garnish with strawberries and sprinkles.
