
Restaurant-Style Strawberry Milkshake
Yield: 2-4 servings
Ingredients
- 8 oz fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced 2 tbsp granulated sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup Lactantia 3% milk
- 1 pint strawberry ice cream
Garnish
- Strawberries
- Rainbow mix sprinkles
Directions
- Place the glasses in the freezer to chill.
- In a medium bowl, mix the strawberries, sugar, and vanilla extract. Place in the freezer for 1 hour.
- In a blender, combine the strawberry mixture and milk. Blend until smooth and no large chunks remain.
- Add the ice cream to the blender and mix by hand. If the mixture is too thick, add ¼ cup more milk, replace the lid, and shake vigorously until combined.
- Pour into the chilled glasses and garnish with strawberries and sprinkles.
