
Pumpkin Spice Chai Latte

Ingredients
Chai Concentrate:
- 2 cups water
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- 1 inch ginger, chopped
- 8 whole cloves
- 8 cardamom pods
- 4 star anise
- ½ tsp nutmeg
- 2 black tea bags
- ¼ cup sugar
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
Latte:
- 3 cups Lactantia Lactose Free 2% milk
- ¼ cup pumpkin puree
- ½ cup chai concentrate
- ¼ tsp pumpkin spice
Directions
Safety & Prep:
- Wash hands thoroughly and sanitize all work surfaces.
- Use the proper color-coded cutting board for each ingredient type.
Make Chai Concentrate:
- In a pot, combine water, cinnamon sticks, ginger, cloves, cardamom pods, star anise, and nutmeg. Bring to a boil.
- Remove from heat and add tea bags. Steep for 5 minutes.
- Strain the mixture to remove solids. Stir in sugar and vanilla until sugar dissolves.
- Store chai concentrate in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
Prepare Latte:
- In a separate container, combine milk, pumpkin puree, and chai concentrate. Store in the refrigerator until ready to use.
- Pour desired amount of milk mixture into a frothing container and froth until warm and foamy.
- Pour frothed latte into a glass, topping with foam.
- Sprinkle with pumpkin spice before serving.
