Cheesy Garlic Pull-Apart Bread

Ingredients

  • 20 ciabatta buns
  • 2 cups Lactantia Herb and Garlic Butter, cold
  • 5 cups Galbani 21% Shredded Mozzarella Cheese

Directions

  1. Wash hands thoroughly with soap and warm water for 20 seconds.
  2. Sanitize all work surfaces.
  3. Use a white cutting board for dairy handling and prep.
  4. Slice each ciabatta bun in a criss-cross pattern, taking care not to cut through the bottom.
  5. Slice the Herb and Garlic Butter into thin pieces (approximately 1 tbsp / 15 g per bun).
  6. Stuff the butter into the cuts, pressing it down so it is fully inside the bread.
  7. Repeat the process with Mozzarella Cheese (approximately ¼ cup per bun).
  8. Place buns on a tray and cover for service.

For Service:

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Bake for 10 minutes, then remove from the oven.
  3. Brush each bun with additional melted Herb and Garlic Butter before serving.
  4. Discard any baked bread that has been at room temperature for more than 2 hours.
