
Autumn Burst Breakfast Parfait — Apple Crumble Jar

Ingredients
Granola:
- 1 cup Lactantia unsalted butter, melted
- ½ cup maple syrup
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 4 cups whole oats
- 1 cup pecans
- ⅓ cup chia seeds
Parfait:
- 1 tbsp Lactantia unsalted butter
- 6 apples, diced ½ inch
- ¼ tsp ground cinnamon
- ¼ cup packed brown sugar
- ¼ cup water
- 4 cups Astro Original Balkan 6% Yogurt
- 2 cups granola
- 4 tbsp maple syrup
Directions
Safety & Prep:
- Wash hands thoroughly and sanitize all work surfaces.
- Use the proper color-coded cutting board for each ingredient type.
Make Granola:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine melted butter, maple syrup, cinnamon, oats, pecans, and chia seeds.
- Spread mixture evenly on a parchment-lined baking tray.
- Bake for 20 minutes, stirring halfway through. Remove and cool completely.
Prepare Apple Crumble:
- In a large skillet, melt 1 tbsp butter over medium heat.
- Add diced apples, cinnamon, brown sugar, and water.
- Cook, stirring frequently, until apples are soft and water has evaporated (about 10 minutes).
Assemble Parfaits:
- In serving jars or glasses, layer 1 cup yogurt, 1 cup cooked apples, and top with ¼ cup granola.
- Drizzle each parfait with 1 tbsp maple syrup.
- Garnish with fresh mint leaves if desired.
